A cheap wedding ring can often be as stunning and beautiful as an expensive one.

Normally when we think of the word ‘cheap’ we picture something that is of poor quality and value, however this doesn’t have to be the case.

The question is all about HOW to find a cheap wedding ring. This may require some research and resourceful thinking in order to find a good deal, yet it is totally possible to score a quality ring for very little money.

First of all lets talk about marketing and branding, as you well know, it is much less expensive to buy a no name brand of product in the super market as opposed to paying for a more popular brand. Just because we may pay more for a box of cereal that is popular does not mean we are getting a better quality cereal. There is no difference when it comes to wedding rings. The fact that a ring is marketed as a ‘wedding’ ring will naturally cost a lot more than just an ordinary ring. This doesn’t mean that the wedding ring is any better than the other, but as a consumer , you will pay a much higher price for the wedding ring simply because it is marketed that way.

So how do we get around this ? The least expensive style of rings are usually the plain gold or silver bands. Plain styled rings come in an abundance. Just about every jewelry store that you enter will carry a diverse selection so you will never have any trouble finding one.

The trick here is to NOT tell the jeweler that you are looking for a wedding ring, as soon as you do that, you have just set your self up to pay top dollar. You could also shop around online. There are hundreds of places where you could find some very good quality ordinary rings that won’t cost you as much as a wedding ring will.

Simply pick out a nice plain style ring and then take it somewhere to have something engraved on it. Engraving an ordinary ring with a special verse or saying that expresses a sentiment of love for that special person, automatically transforms that ordinary ring into the perfect wedding ring ! This way, you will have a quality ring at a fraction of the cost.

Of course it doesn’t have to be a plain style ring, you could choose something a lot more elaborate as long as you opt for a non wedding ring. In the end nobody will know the difference and you could use the extra money you just saved for your honey moon.
